Pleasant Grove cross country and track athlete. I've been running since 8th grade.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Improve my 3-Mile time by 1:06 during my 2016 cross country season.

Summer Ham Challenge goal: To keep my distance run average pace under 7:00 every time.

Run in interesting places, stay motivated, and enjoy being on a great team.

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Be the best high school athlete I can be.

Continue to have a love of running as I progress past high school.

Personal:

I run cross country and track for Pleasant Grove High School. I've been a cross country captain for the past year. I'm 17 years old and I'm going to be a senior. I love going on runs with my friends and I enjoy even the most difficult runs.

Tomorrow is the time trial, so we did an easy 40-minute run this morning. I ran with Tyler, Matt Morrison and Reed. We had some good discussions, some related to running and some not. We hit 5.29 then did three 200m strideouts where we got faster each one. Reed invited us over for waffles after, and they were delicious. We also watched a Harambe tribute video there that Ali and Brayjo found.

Such an inspirational video. I'll probably go sub 10 tomorrow because of it.
